Mona Moon Naturals is a line of body care products that are created from natural, non-GMO, paraben-free ingredients that are recognizable and safe. When you use Mona Moon Naturals you feel good knowing what you are putting on your body is nourishing, healing, and clean.

A breast cancer diagnosis, a need for an all-natural deodorant that worked, and the desire to share the appreciation for clean beauty were the inspiration to create our products and select our ingredients.

After my sister, Sandra was diagnosed with an estrogen-based breast cancer (LCIS-lobular carcinoma in situ), I began to research and learn about harmful chemicals used in many body care products.  It was pretty eye-opening and upsetting to learn that products my family had been using had many ingredients that were toxins that altered hormones, triggered allergies, and could cause cancer.

My goal was to live healthier, so we began incorporating and using natural products into our homes. Personally, deodorant was a struggle, so I began to make deodorant and share it with loved ones and friends.   It was never my goal to create a natural skincare company and then I met people who were enjoying and felt good using my creations, so Mona Moon Naturals was born. I’m proud that our star product, our deodorant paste comes with a message.  “While applying, take a moment to check under your arms and breasts for lumps and bumps and reach out to your doctor if there are changes.” #pastewithpurpose

The Ingredients We Use

Coconut Oil is a natural oil that comes from the meaty part of a coconut.  It has many health benefits for our skin. It is a full body moisturizer that helps in anti-aging, protects against UV rays, speeds up the healing of wounds, and repairs damaged skin.

Avocado Oil is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, potassium, vitamin E, vitamin D, and other nutrients that help heal and moisturize the skin, reduce the redness from acne, and soothe sunburned skin. It is pressed from the pulp surrounding the seed of the avocado.

Shea Butter is a fat extracted from shea nut that provides wonderful benefits for our skin.  It keeps skin stay hydrated, boosts skin tone, repairs damaged skin, and helps with premature aging.

Mango Butter is a natural butter that comes from the seed of the mango. This can improve your skin’s elasticity, helps with skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis, and may protect wounds from infections.  

Aluminum Free Baking Soda is a staple in our kitchens and effective in many home remedies.  It naturally exfoliates your skin, brightens your complexion, and absorbs sweat.

Arrowroot Powder is a starch that comes from the Marantaceae plant family. It absorbs moisture and sweat and helps with rashes and wounds.

Beeswax is natural and non-toxic, providing protection that keeps your skin hydrated and reduces dryness.  It also reduces stretch marks.

Sweet Almond Oil is extracted from edible almonds and is rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, and several vitamins, and minerals that are good for our skin and hair. It is used as a cleanser, helps reduce itching and naturally hydrates rashes, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and signs of aging.

Essential oils are plant extracts, in concentration that have the natural flavors and smells of their original source.
